Karenderia Smart Table Ordering System is an addon for Karenderia Multiple Restaurant System (KMRS). It adds QR Code Table Ordering and Shared Table Ordering functionality to the existing KMRS restaurant ordering platform.

This addon requires Karenderia Multiple Restaurant System (KMRS) to work. It is not a standalone restaurant ordering system.

If you do not already own Karenderia Multiple Restaurant System, please purchase KMRS first before purchasing this addon.

Karenderia Smart Table Ordering System is a modern QR code ordering solution for restaurants that goes beyond traditional QR menu systems.

Customers simply scan the QR code at their table using their smartphone, browse the menu, place orders, track their orders, request the bill, and complete payment — without needing to install a customer app.

One Table. Multiple Customers. One Shared Order.

What makes this system different is its Shared Table Ordering feature.

Multiple customers sitting at the same table can use their own smartphones to join the same table session and place orders independently. Instead of creating separate orders for each customer, all items are combined into one shared table order.

Example:

• Customer 1 orders a Burger and Fries
• Customer 2 orders Pizza and a Coke
• Customer 3 orders Chicken Wings and Coffee

Restaurant receives one shared table order for the table.

This makes ordering easier for customers while keeping restaurant order management simple.

QR Code Table Ordering

Each restaurant table can have its own unique QR code.

Customers simply:

Scan QR Code → Access Menu → Order → Track Order

No customer app installation is required.

The QR code connects the customer to the correct table and starts or joins the table ordering session.

Self-Service Ordering

Customers can browse the restaurant menu directly from their mobile device.

They can:

• Browse categories and menu items
• View item details and options
• Add items to their cart
• Submit orders
• Track order status
• Continue ordering during the active table session
• Request the bill when finished

This provides a convenient self-service ordering experience while reducing the need for customers to wait for staff to take orders.

Shared Table Ordering

Multiple customers. One table. One shared order.

Customers sitting at the same table can join the existing table session and place their own orders using their individual smartphones.

Host & Guest Ordering

The first customer who starts the table session becomes the Host.

Host can:

• Browse the menu
• Place orders
• Continue ordering
• Invite other customers
• View the shared table order
• Request the bill
• Proceed with online payment when available

Other customers can join the table as Guests.

Guests can:

• Join the existing table session
• Browse the menu
• Place their own items
• View the shared table order
• Continue ordering while the session is active

All Host and Guest orders are combined into the same table order.

Customer Assistance Requests

Customers can send assistance requests directly from their table.

Restaurants can configure available request types such as:

• Call Waiter
• Table Clean
• Extra Plate
• Extra Bowl
• Water Refill
• Ice
• Chopsticks
• Kids Cutlery
• Phone Charger
• Special Request

This allows customers to request assistance without needing to leave the table.

Request Bill

When customers are finished ordering, the Host can request the bill.

The restaurant receives the bill request and can prepare the customer’s bill.

Once the bill process has started, the table ordering session can prevent additional orders from being submitted until the bill request is cancelled or completed.

Flexible Payment Workflow

Payment options depend on the restaurant’s configured payment methods.

Online Payment

Customer requests the bill → Bill is prepared → Host proceeds to payment → Payment successful → Order is marked as Paid → Restaurant finalizes the order.

After successful payment, customers can no longer add new items to the order.

Cash / Restaurant-Managed Payment

Customer requests the bill → Restaurant receives the request → Staff prepares the bill → Customer pays directly at the restaurant → Staff finalizes the order.

This allows restaurants to support both online and traditional payment workflows.

Complete Table Ordering Workflow

Scan QR Code → Start / Join Table Session → Browse Menu → Place Order → Kitchen Preparation → Track Order → Continue Ordering → Request Bill → Payment → Paid → Finalize Order → Session Closed
